Kidō Senshi Gundam 00·A wakening of the Trailblazer

GN-0000 00 Gundam (GN-0000 ガンダムダブルオー, Hepburn: GN-0000 Gandamu Daburu Ō). Designed by Ian Vashti and built in secret by Celestial Being, the 00 Gundam (Double O Gundam) is a 4th generation MS characterised by the innovative Twin Drive System, which has a couple of GN Drives mounted on the shoulders. As the Twin Drive is an experimental system, during the roll-out tests (with Tieria Erde as test-pilot after the events of “Operation Fallen Angels"), it has shown instability problems with the two GN Vernier, which are unable to compress the GN particles at 100% due to the large volume emitted. In order to regulate the power output, Ian has created a GN condenser that is able to allocate the energy in the entire MS body by using the same GN power lines as 3rd generation units (a system that the ESF will use afterward during the mass production of the GN-X Series MS). This drawback will be solved with the creation of the support unit GNR-010 0 Raiser, which, combining with the Double O, becomes the definitive GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser. The position of the two GN Drives on the shoulders has been purposely designed in order to take advantage of GN particle emission and improve the defensive skills of the GN Field. Assigned to the Gundam Meister Setsuna F. Seiei, the Gundam 00 made its debut on the battlefield in 2312 A.D. and led Celestial Being to the final victory in the war against the paramilitary organisation A-LAWS and the Innovators.
